I've set up this blog
as a place to help me gather my thoughts on things that I read or see
that relate to my interests. The topics covered are likely to include
dating in archaeology and palaeoanthropology, applications of
quantitative methods to study the past, historical demography,
chemical and isotopic analysis in archaeology with forays into other
aspects of archaeology, history and genealogy.
For several years I've been putting off having a
blog because I didn't think I could sustain the
flow of new writing, but I've finally succumbed. I don't promise to
post often or on any regular schedule.
